I’m at the Age Where Convenience Wins
At some point, I stopped believing that the cheapest option or the hardest way was automatically the “better” choice. This week, I’m talking about how my definition of worth it has changed — from direct flights and easy parking to ordering ahead, comfy shoes, delivery, and choosing the option that saves me time, energy, and unnecessary frustration. I’m also sharing the things I still refuse to pay extra for, why hotels are definitely one of them, and the new thing I’m figuring out: sometimes choosing convenience is not lazy — it just means I finally understand what my time and patience are worth.

Why Do I Need a Little Treat for Everything?
Finished a workout? Little treat. Survived a long day? Little treat. Ran an errand I absolutely did not want to run? Obviously, I deserve a little treat. 😂 In Episode 12 of Couch to Cardio, I’m talking about my need to turn practically everything into a reward—and why, maybe, that isn’t always a bad thing. We’re chatting about the tiny things that motivate us, finding joy in everyday life, and the difference between enjoying a treat and feeling like every single accomplishment needs to come with a prize. Because apparently my brain has developed its own rewards program, and the points system is VERY generous. I’m also sharing this week’s Tiny Win, what’s keeping me entertained for Treadmill TV, and how things are going as I continue trying to build better habits without sucking all the fun out of life. If you’ve ever said “I deserve a little treat” after doing the most basic adult task imaginable… this episode is definitely for you. 😂 🎧 Grab your headphones, your walking shoes—and yes, probably your little treat—and come hang out with me. I’m just a girl trying to get my life together… without giving up snacks and binge-worthy TV. 💕

I Want to Go Out… Until It’s Time to Go Out
Why do plans sound SO good when you make them… and then the day actually arrives? 😂 This week on Couch to Cardio, we’re talking about the constant battle between wanting a social life and also desperately wanting to stay home on the couch. I’m getting into the mental gymnastics of making plans, watching my social battery slowly drain, and wondering why something I was genuinely excited about suddenly feels like a major life commitment when it’s time to put on real pants and leave the house. Plus, we’re catching up on real life, Tiny Wins, what I’ve been watching for Treadmill TV, and the usual attempt to keep moving and get my life together without pretending I have any of it figured out. If you’ve ever thought, “Yes! I’d love to go!” followed several days later by “Why did I agree to this?” — this episode is for you. 😂 🎧 Grab your headphones, hit the treadmill—or stay firmly planted on the couch. Both are welcome here. I’m just a girl trying to get my life together… without giving up snacks and binge-worthy TV. 💕

I Have Too Many Tabs Open — In My Brain
Do you ever feel like your brain has 37 tabs open, three are frozen, and one is playing music but you have no idea where it is coming from? 😂 This week, I’m talking about mental clutter, decision fatigue, endless lists, forgetting why I picked up my phone, and why sometimes we feel exhausted even when we cannot point to one big thing we actually did. Plus, I’ve got all my 30 Days Back on Track trackers ready for September 1, complete with brand-new Sharpies because apparently fresh markers are essential to personal growth. 😂 We also took a break from Nashville and somehow binged the entire season of Sterling Point. This week’s reminder: maybe getting organized is not about remembering everything. Maybe it is about giving your brain fewer things to hold. 🎧 Listen on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Zoo Days, Extra Innings & Real Life
After a two-week break, we’re back—and this episode is all about our family trip to Toronto. We made our third visit to the Toronto Zoo, walked about 17,000 steps, squeezed in an unexpected ER visit after an iPad-versus-toe incident, stayed in an Airbnb, and watched the Blue Jays take the game into extra innings… only to lose anyway. 😂 I’m also sharing one of our favourite family travel traditions, why imperfect trips can still make the best memories, a very questionable car-cleaning experiment involving dish soap and vinegar, and what I’m looking forward to with 30 Days Back on Track. Plus, we’re still watching Nashville, and this week’s Tiny Win is a simple one: sitting back down and pressing record. Sometimes real life is messy, funny, completely ordinary—and still worth talking about.

Things I Thought I'd Have Figured Out By Now
Episode 8: Things I Thought I’d Have Figured Out by Now I really thought I’d have adulthood figured out by my 40s. Turns out, I still rehearse phone calls, forget passwords, have no idea what’s for dinner, and somehow keep collecting hobbies. 😂 This week, I’m talking about the things I still haven’t mastered—and a few things I actually have learned along the way, especially when it comes to money, debt, unexpected expenses, and trusting myself to handle what comes next. Plus, I’m on Day 8 of the 75 Day Soft Challenge, got all my workouts in, we’re still watching Nashville, and I’m sharing a first look at 30 Days Back on Track, starting September 1. Maybe having your life together isn’t about knowing everything. Maybe it’s just learning how to keep figuring it out.

Why Don't I Know How To Relax
Why does sitting still sometimes feel like I’m doing something wrong? This week, I’m talking about where that feeling may have started, why I turn nearly every hobby into a project, and the difference between doing something because it brings me joy and doing it because I feel guilty stopping. Plus, I finished the forgotten episodes of The Good Wife, wrapped up Ransom Canyon, started rewatching Nashville, and began Day 1 of the 75 Day Soft Challenge. A relatable conversation about rest, productivity, and learning that not every free moment needs an assignment. 🎧 Listen on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. ⭐ Follow the show and leave a review—I genuinely love reading them.

Growing Up Together
Episode 6: We Grew Up Together I became a mom at 19, while my husband became a dad at 18. We were still figuring out adulthood while learning how to raise a family—and in many ways, we grew up alongside our children. This week, I’m talking about young motherhood, identity, and learning who I am now that our kids are grown and family life looks different. Plus, I gave Little House on the Prairie a fair try, went back to The Good Wife, and discovered I somehow missed two entire seasons. 🎧 Listen on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. ⭐ Follow the show and leave a review—I truly love reading them.

Back At It
Life had other plans these last couple of weeks. I lost my voice after catching the germs my husband and son brought home, had to press pause on my workouts, and learned (again) that sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is rest. This week, I'm catching you up on everything—from cheering on my husband as he spent three days (and a few choice words!) replacing our leaky toilet, to crossing the finish line at Mud Girl 2026 with my amazing team, Mud Up or Shut Up 2026. I'm also sharing why I'm excited to reset, get back to regular workouts, make healthier food choices, and why one tough week doesn't erase months of progress. Plus, this week's Treadmill TV Pick and a reminder that every tiny win matters. 🎧 Listen on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. ⭐ If you're enjoying Couch to Cardio, please follow the show and leave a review—it truly helps more people discover the podcast, and I love reading every single one. Remember... I'm just a girl trying to get my life together... without giving up snacks and binge-worthy TV. 💕

Tiny Things Add Up
This week reminded me that it's the little things that really add up. From celebrating Canada Day with friends (and recovering from all that socializing!), to laughing with family at the casino, considering a city recreation membership just for the nostalgia of swimming, and discovering another Treadmill TV obsession, I'm sharing the little moments that made this week feel so good. We also chat about meal prepping, why healthy habits don't have to be perfect to make a difference, the ever-growing list of streaming services we somehow all pay for, and this week's Tiny Wins—from five strength workouts and five treadmill sessions to making healthier choices one day at a time. Grief Changed Me
Grief doesn't just happen once—it quietly changes the way you see the world, the people around you, and even yourself. In this episode, I'm talking about how losing my dad changed me in ways I never expected. This isn't a story about having all the answers or "moving on." It's about learning to live alongside grief while trying to rebuild your life one tiny step at a time. I share what grief has taught me about resilience, why I stopped waiting to feel "like myself again," and how small habits, laughter, TV shows, snacks, and showing up for myself have become part of my healing. If you've ever felt like life split into a before and after, this episode is for you. You're not alone. 💛 How grief changes you long after the loss 💪 Learning to rebuild instead of "getting over it" 🚶 Why tiny wins matter on hard days 📺 The little things that helped me keep going ✨ Giving yourself permission to heal at your own pace Because healing isn't about going back to who you were—it's about discovering who you're becoming. 🩷

Birthdays, Breakdowns & Big Reminders
Birthdays have a funny way of making us stop and take stock of where we are, where we've been, and where we're headed. In this episode, I'm sharing the highs, the hard moments, and the unexpected reminders that came with another year older. We chat about tiny wins, keeping healthy habits going when life gets busy, my birthday celebrations, Post Malone and Jelly Roll, the TV shows currently keeping me entertained, and why progress isn't always loud. Sometimes it's just showing up, giving yourself grace, and trying again tomorrow. If you've ever felt like you're figuring life out one small step at a time, grab your favourite snack, get out for a walk, or hop on the treadmill—you're in good company. In this episode: 🎂 Birthday reflections & getting older 💛 Tiny wins worth celebrating 🎵 Post Malone & Jelly Roll 📺 Current TV obsession updates 🚶 Why showing up still counts ☕ Real life, honest conversations, and plenty of laughs Because getting your life together doesn't mean giving up snacks or binge-worthy TV. 🩷
