Why C3?
Courtside - Basketball has been my life
Coffee - Is life at this point
Catch-Up - I LOVE a chat and connecting
The concept is simple, organic and authentic conversations with great people across the sporting landscape.
From the She Hoops Cup in Melbourne to NBL1 Central and the Adelaide Lightning Academy, Porscha Vello is discovering just how far hard work, confidence and opportunity can take her.
In this episode of Courtside Coffee Catch-Up, we catch up with Porscha to reflect on the unforgettable experience of playing at John Cain Arena ahead of the Australian Opals V China with basketball royalty Lauren Jackson watching courtside.
But the She Hoops Cup was about more than playing on a big stage. For Porscha, it was a chance to recognise that she belongs alongside some of the country’s emerging basketball talent — and that the next level might be closer than she once imagined.
We chat about her journey with the Norwood Flames, NBL1 Central debut, selection in the Adelaide Lightning Academy, aspirations of playing college basketball in the United States and the challenges of balancing basketball, school and life as a teenager.
Plus, we discover Porscha’s passionate support for the Adelaide 36ers, her new role as College Captain and a creative side hustle you might not expect!
Featuring conversations recorded courtside in Melbourne before the She Hoops Cup and reflections afterwards, this episode captures a young athlete embracing every opportunity while continuing to dream big.
This episode is part of our collaboration with Basketball SA’s Female Participation Strategy, celebrating the stories, experiences and pathways of women and girls in basketball.

Courtside Coffee Catch-Up x Oh F%#k, Now What? - Kara Wolters
CourtSide Coffee Catch-Up x Oh F#@k, Now What? | Kara Wolters
What happens when two basketball-loving women get together for a podcast crossover? Plenty of laughs, a little basketball and a conversation that goes absolutely everywhere!
In this special collaboration, I’m joined by Kara Wolters — NCAA National Champion, WNBA Champion, Olympic Gold Medallist and Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame inductee — and host of Oh F#@k, Now What?
With Kara visiting Adelaide thanks to Australian Sports Consultants, we had the opportunity to sit down for a conversation that was about so much more than basketball.
We reflect on Kara’s incredible journey, including the belief that legendary UConn coach Geno Auriemma instilled in her, and what comes after achieving some of the biggest honours in the game.
And then, of course, there’s the fun!
From tall girl math and short kings sliding into Kara’s DMs to foot pics, unexpected tangents and sharing our own Oh F#@k, Now What? moments, there were plenty of laughs along the way.
More than anything, this episode is about connection, finding common ground and the conversations that happen when two people genuinely click.
Two women. Two podcasts. Plenty of laughs and a whole lot of heart.
Good people. Great conversations. That’s what the Courtside Coffee Catch-Up is all about.

C3 with Anzac Rissetto
Eight years after our paths first crossed at the inaugural Steven Adams High School Invitational in New Zealand — when Anzac Rissetto was just 17 — we sat down again, now at 25, for a conversation that felt incredibly special.
This wasn’t just a chat about basketball.
Anzac spoke with honesty, humour and real openness about the journey that has taken him from junior New Zealand basketball and NCAA Division I to the Tall Blacks, the NBL, championship success in Australia and Germany, and now the BNZ Breakers.
We talk about ambition, setbacks, growth, team culture, influencing winning and the people who shape you along the way.
We also share a deeply meaningful conversation about our mutual friend and Anzac’s former New Zealand junior teammate, Jake McKinlay — remembering the teammate, the bro, and the special person he was to so many.
There was something incredibly real about this conversation, and I’m grateful to Anzac for the trust and honesty he brought to it.
This one means a lot.
