[…] And I would see things coming. Number one, knowing what we were fixing to do, the cattle or horses coming to Old Hill, I might trot up a head or something and click. But I wouldn't do what a true photographer does a lot of times, get in the way. And I was there as a cowboy and not as a photographer. People say, Bob, you're lying. I've got too many slides to prove that I was a photographer. I don't know anybody I can convince. I think James Goldson, anybody like that, they'd tell you that I was a cowboy before I was a photographer. Knowing what was fixing to happen or seeing the sun or seeing before the sun comes up and seeing those horses right over there where we're fixing to catch horses and seeing the dust and the red dust and shooting that.
