Life Lately: Banter, Bold Opinions & a Big Secret - With Tons & Bell

The girls are back this week with a fresh dose of chaos, honesty, and a few opinions that might get them cancelled at brunch. Toni has officially returned to Charleville — back in her work-town groove. Meanwhile, Bella has been booked and busy, juggling bull photoshoots, family shoots and life - with a few super exciting things in the moments between for both of the girls! Between life updates, emotional spirals, and a few questionable decisions, the girls dive head‑first into unpopular and controversial opinions — the ones you whisper in group chats but never say out loud. Think: hot takes, petty truths, and the kind of confessions that make you check if your mic is actually on. It’s fun, it’s unfiltered, it’s very “we probably shouldn’t say this but we’re going to anyway.” And just when you think the episode is winding down, the girls drop a very exciting hint — something BIG, something JUICY, something you absolutely do not want to miss. Chaos, honesty, and a little mystery to finish off the season - perfection really! A massive shoutout to the legends supporting this episode. They keep the lights on, the mics hot, and the chaos flowing. From Uni Degrees to Goat Yarns: The Rise of 'uwannagoforabeer_contracting' - With Ruby & Edwina (aka. The Dodgy Sisters)

Ruby and Edwina — the iconic co‑founders of 'uwannagoforabeer_contracting' — join us this week for a wholesome, chaotic, deeply Aussie yarn. Known online as 'The Dodgy Sisters,' the girls sit down to unpack the origin story of their page: how light-hearted posts between mates turned into a full‑blown contracting brand, a community, and a business that somehow involves merch, goat yarns, and the occasional side‑tracked tangent that absolutely no one asked for but everyone loves - these girls truly are the bees knees. We dive into where they’re at now — juggling contract work, building a business from scratch, and navigating the wild world of running a brand that doesn’t take itself too seriously. They share how their merch works, what they’ve learned along the way, and the moments that made them realise, “Oh yeah… we’re actually doing this.” Friendship is at the heart of their story. Ruby and Edwina talk openly about working together, communicating honestly, staying grounded, and keeping the fun alive even when business feels a little tougher some days. They also chat about their uni days, the degrees they each studied, and how those skills sneakily show up in their work now. It’s warm, funny, a bit feral, and full of the kind of yarns only these two could tell. A feel‑good episode from start to finish. This is one you won't want to miss cowgirls ;) Massive shoutout to the legends supporting Season 8. They keep the lights on, the mics hot, and the chaos flowing. Small Town Roots, Big Stage Dreams: Mackenzie May’s Story

Tons and Bell sat down with the effortlessly talented Mackenzie May, just 20 years old and already carving out a name for herself in country music. We take it back to where it all started – where Mackenzie grew up - and to the pivotal moments that shaped her path, from open mics to standing on the CMC Rocks stage - one of the biggest achievements of her career so far. She opens up about her 5-year goals, mapped out alongside Steven Green, CEO of Country Town, and the people who’ve backed her every step of the way – her mum and dad. We chat about how she finds the spark to write songs, what little Mackenzie once dreamed of, and the advice she’d give her younger self. It’s a conversation full of heart, hustle, and honesty about what it really takes to grow up chasing music. Mackenzie also opens up about avoiding burnout in the industry, learning to grow at her own pace, and what it’s really like balancing high school with a blossoming music career – judgement and all. Talented, grounded, and wise beyond her years, Mackenzie leaves us with advice we all needed to hear – don’t miss this one! A massive shoutout to the legends supporting this episode. They keep the lights on, the mics hot, and the chaos flowing. […] And then I think that straight up the road to recovery needs to look like, you know, supporting our local merchandise supplies, like our elders, our nutrients, you know, I think cluelty, chile of all, Fargo, all these places and hay ahead some fencing material or some poly supplies feed, you know, like even local fuel supplies to donate, you know, drums of oil and grease to get our machines up and going again. But yeah, the road to recovery is going to be long as we're all aware of and these are just things that we can be doing straight up. But yeah, long term, this is going to take so much money and so much time and so much energy from everyone, not just the locals in the community, but yeah, we really need everyone to rally behind us and get us back up on our feet.
