E42 Between Surviving An Avalanche And A Dead Son, God Broke Through - The Mick Weinholt Story

In this powerful episode, Mick Weinholt — host of Coincidence or God — opens up about two life altering moments that shaped his faith. First, he recounts surviving a massive avalanche alone on a Colorado peak, waking up miraculously unburied and able to walk out despite severe injuries. At the time, he gave God only “intellectual credit,” still living far from any real relationship with Him.Years later, Mick and his wife faced unimaginable heartbreak when their full-term son, Luke, was found without a heartbeat just one week before his due date. Overwhelmed by grief in a hospital hallway, Mick cried out to the God he had spent years resisting — and God met him. That moment became the beginning of a transformed life, a restored marriage, and a faith that reshaped everything. Mick shares how God continued to guide him, even leading him through a season of unemployment to launch his testimony driven podcast. His story is raw, honest, and overflowing with evidence of God’s sovereignty, love, and pursuit. If this episode speaks to you, share it with someone who needs hope. E40 - When God Spoke in the Storm: Cathy Garland’s Journey of Surrender, Suffering & Hearing His Voice

Cathy Garland’s story is one of deep suffering, relentlessfaith, and a supernatural encounter that changed everything. Raised in a Jesus‑movement home filled with theology, hospitality, and authentic faith, Cathy knew God from childhood — but her adult life brought heartbreak she never expected. Divorce, miscarriage, broken relationships, and years of waiting left her spiritually dry, “like sucking sand through a straw.” Everything shifted the night she drove home through a violent storm and cried out to God in despair. In the passenger seat, she heard Him speak audibly: “If you don’t want your life, I do.” That moment launched a journey of trading her fears, dreams, job, relationships, and identity to God — piece by piece — until she reached what she calls absolute surrender. From that day forward, she describes living in a waterfall of God’s presence. In this episode, Cathy explains how God reveals Himselfthrough suffering, how to discern His voice, why surrender unlocks spiritual fire, and how He fulfilled a long‑awaited vision of her children. She also shares insights from her books Revelationship and Known, offering practical theology for anyone longing to hear God more clearly. If you’ve ever felt stuck, dry, or unsure how to hear God,this conversation will speak directly to your heart. Listen, share, and join the Crazy Amazing God Stories community as we celebrate the God who still speaks.
