The "Created New" podcast invites you into meaningful conversations about life. Just like we need a cup of coffee and some time with Jesus, we also need people to connect to in this world. As your host, it is my goal to ensure that this podcast is just that! Bring all that you are to this space and together let's discover how we are being created new.
019 What’s New? | Moving, Real Life & Service Dog Training
This episode takes a deep dive into our recent move! If you missed it on previous episodes, I went from living in my one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment to moving in with my boyfriend and our best friend. Moving was hard. I think that’s a universal truth! But we definitely had a difficult week as a couple living real life. I’d like to think it was because we were on the brink of a better and more peaceful life. We love every bit of what we have chosen for ourselves—stay tuned for more!
We are heading to Michigan for some fun travels between now and the end of the year. But in the meantime, Maggie got accepted into service dog training! This is something that God’s hand was in all along. As a small puppy, Maggie was turned down and denied by many organizations simply because of their own ways of doing things. But it took making a connection in the right place, at the right time, to land at the perfect service program for Maggie. Training came at a time when I finally feel secure and ready to take on something new. Follow our journey, and pray for us and these four little paws!

018 Little Ways My Boyfriend Shows Up for Me as a Visually Impaired Person | Who Has a Seat at Your Table?
In this episode, I share the lighthearted, everyday ways my boyfriend shows up for me as someone who is visually impaired. Along the way, I open up about the challenges of dating and the journey of finding someone who truly sees me—not my disability as a burden, but as part of who I am.
I’ve learned that the right person doesn’t just accept you; they embrace you and show up in ways you never expected. And at the end, I challenge you to invite more people to your table—people you never imagined sharing life with. Because sometimes, the people who are different from us have the most to teach us, and the connections we least expect can become the ones that change our lives.
Maybe creating a less divided world starts with something simple: making room. Making room for different perspectives, different experiences, and people who may not look, live, or experience the world the way we do. So, who are you making room for at your table?

017 Real Ralk | YOU Have to Save Yourself | A Conversation About Grief, Loss, and Renewal
In this episode, I’m sharing some real talk about the struggles I’ve been facing behind the scenes. Over the past year, I’ve felt tired, uninspired, and disconnected from the parts of myself that once brought me so much joy. Without a creative outlet, I slowly stopped showing up for myself in the little ways—losing the excitement of getting dressed, pursuing my passions, and embracing the person I wanted to be.
This conversation is about a difficult realization: no one else can save you. Friends, family, and the people who love you can support you, but ultimately, you are the only person who can choose to fight for yourself. You have to save you.
I’m opening up about what it feels like to lose yourself and the journey of rediscovering hope, purpose, and the spark that makes you feel alive again. If you’ve ever felt stuck, burned out, or like you’ve forgotten who you are, this episode is for you.
And in the midst of this season of renewal, I’m excited to share that something new is on the horizon—I’m launching a brand-new website soon. This chapter isn’t about becoming someone different; it’s about finding my way back to myself.
Let’s talk about what it means to start over, choose yourself, and believe that renewal is still possible.

016 Was Moving Across the Country Worth It? | Evan Buck
In this episode, we’re reflecting on one of the biggest leaps we’ve ever taken—moving 2,000 miles across the country and stepping into a completely new season of life.
We share the fears, doubts, and “what ifs” that filled our minds before the move, and how the very things we were most nervous about ended up shaping us, stretching us, and becoming some of our greatest blessings. Looking back, it’s incredible to see how peace often showed up long before certainty did.
Now, we’re standing at another milestone: closing the chapter of living in our own places and moving in together. While this next step brings its own excitement, it also comes with new fears and unknowns. But if our journey has taught us anything, it’s that fear doesn’t always mean you’re on the wrong path. Sometimes, the life you’re praying for is waiting on the other side of trusting God’s peace.
Join us as we reminisce on where we’ve been, celebrate how far we’ve come, and look ahead to this exciting new chapter. If you’re navigating change, wrestling with uncertainty, or wondering whether to take that next step, we hope this conversation reminds you that growth often begins where comfort ends—and that peace can be a better guide than fear.

015 Moving In, Letting Go & Learning to Love the Valley
This episode is a deeply personal one as I share the journey of moving in with the love of my life and stepping into a brand-new season. For so long, I had a picture in my mind of exactly how I thought life would unfold. But sometimes the most beautiful stories begin when we’re willing to let go of the plans we’ve been holding onto and embrace the ones God is writing instead.
I talk about what it means to release expectations, build a life intentionally, and create a future that reflects your values—not someone else’s timeline. Whether you’re making a big move, entering a new relationship, or simply standing at the edge of change, I hope this conversation encourages you to make decisions that align with the life you truly want to build.
At the heart of this episode is a reminder that life isn’t meant to be spent constantly chasing mountaintop moments. The valleys are where roots grow deeper, faith is strengthened, and fruit is harvested. God’s greatest work often happens in the quiet, ordinary seasons we so easily overlook.
If you’ve been waiting for the next big thing, this episode is your invitation to embrace where you are, plant yourself with purpose, and find joy in the season you’re living today.

014 Be Where Your Feet Are
We spend so much of our lives looking behind us at where we’ve been or ahead at where we’re going that we forget to fully embrace where we are right now.
In this episode, we’re talking about the importance of staying anchored in the season you’re currently living. While reflection can teach us valuable lessons and dreaming about the future can inspire us, constantly living somewhere other than the present can leave us feeling exhausted, restless, and disconnected from the life unfolding in front of us.
This episode is a challenge to slow down and embrace the current chapter of your story. To find gratitude in the ordinary moments, trust the timing of your journey, and remember that what is meant for you will never pass you by. One day, you’ll arrive exactly where you’re meant to be—but that doesn’t make today any less meaningful.
Join me as we explore what it means to be fully present, trust the process, and discover the beauty hidden in the season you’re living right now.

013 The Climb Before the View | Lessons from Cathedral Rock and the Dreams Worth Pursuing
We often dream about the view from the top—the answered prayers, the
accomplishments, the life we long to build. But what we rarely talk about is the climb it takes to get there.
In this episode, I share my experience hiking the challenging Cathedral Rock trail in Sedona, Arizona, and how every steep incline became a reminder of life itself. Along the way, I faced fear, exhaustion, and moments where I questioned whether I could keep going. Isn’t that how so many of our dreams unfold? We ask ourselves the “what if” questions, wonder if we’re capable, and wrestle with the discomfort that comes with growth.
Yet the beauty of the summit isn’t just in the destination—it’s in the decision to keep climbing. Because the goals and gifts waiting for us at the top are often only reached when we choose to keep putting one foot in front of the other.
Join me as we talk about perseverance, overcoming fear, and learning that sometimes the greatest transformation happens not at the summit, but in the climb itself.

012 Living with the Invisible: Autoimmune Disease and the Quiet Battle
Lately, it has become clear to me just how invisible an autoimmune disease can be. In this episode, we step into the emotions and experiences that don’t show on the outside—the raw, honest reality of living with something unseen.
For ten years, I moved through a newly discovered health condition, quietly longing for someone who could truly understand what I was carrying. Instead, it became one of the deepest and most private parts of my life. Rather than bringing my pain into every space I entered, I offered up the joy I could manage—carefully protecting others from the weight of my isolation while I carried it alone.
Now, I spend most of my days genuinely experiencing joy and feeling immersed in what I believe is God’s calling on my life. And yet, that doesn’t mean the old patterns are gone. Some days still feel heavy. Some days bring me back to my deepest fears and the sadness I once knew so well.
This episode is about all of it—the healing, the setbacks, and the truth that both can exist at the same time.

011 Urban Planning Meets Blindness | Good Morning America | Evan Buck
In this episode, we introduce one of Evan’s biggest life accomplishments—graduating from grad school! As a master’s graduate in urban and environmental planning, Evan discusses the intricacies of his career.
He dives into his life before attending Arizona State University and how one single class as an undergrad led him to making one of the biggest decisions of his life. 010 Moved Across the Country to Find Purpose but Found Purpose in Love Instead
Love finds you in the wildest ways. Here is our love story!
In this episode, I share how we each traveled 2,000 miles away from home to find ourselves and build a new life… but ended up finding each other instead. From driving the same roads across the country, both single, to building something truly meaningful together.
I talk about what it looks like to chase your dreams while trusting that God is working in the smallest, most unexpected details. From the early sparks to the steady foundation we have built, this is a story about timing, purpose, and the kind of love that grows when you lean into where you are being led.
Now, as we step into a new season and celebrate the closing of Evan’s college chapter, we reflect on everything that brought us here—and everything still ahead.

009 The Rest of Your Life Awaits the Redirection You Keep Avoiding
In this episode, we talk about identity, growth, and the hard truth about staying stuck. So often, life shifts in ways we didn’t plan, and instead of embracing the redirection, we resist it. We hold onto what is familiar. Even when it’s no longer where we are meant to be.
This conversation is a reminder that the rest of your life may be waiting on the very change you’ve been avoiding. Through faith, surrender, and a willingness to grow, even the hardest seasons can shape us into who we were always meant to become.
If you’ve been feeling stagnant, uncertain, or stuck between who you were and who you’re becoming, this episode is for you. There is purpose in the redirection, freedom in letting go, and growth on the other side of obedience.

008 There Are Dreams I Refuse to Take to the Grave With Me

Life doesn’t always unfold on the timeline we imagine, but sometimes the dreams that stay with us the longest are the ones worth pursuing the most. This episode is about growth, faith, courage, and the quiet determination to keep moving forward even if you don't have it all figured out.
If you are in a season of figuring things out, holding onto something you believe in, or learning to trust the journey, then this conversation is for you.
