Crime Night

About Crime Night

Some cases were closed. Others were just buried. Crime Night is the podcast that digs into the cases law enforcement left behind — cold cases, unsolved murders, and criminal investigations that never made it to a courtroom. Every episode pulls from court documents, police records, and firsthand reporting to reconstruct what really happened, and why the system failed to find answers. This isn't true crime as entertainment. It's true crime as accountability. Host Seth approaches each real crime case with the methodology of an investigative journalist — no speculation dressed up as fact, no dramatization for shock value. Just a clear, unflinching look at criminal investigation failures, overlooked evidence, and the people still waiting for justice. Seth spent years studying criminal justice and has dedicated his work to amplifying cases that deserve a second look. His background gives him the analytical edge to break down complex forensic and procedural details without losing the human story at the center. Crime Night is built for listeners who are done with surface-level storytelling. If you want real cases examined with depth and integrity — not just a retelling — this show was made for you. New episodes drop everyday, running between 18 and 25 minutes. Long enough to go deep. Focused enough to keep you locked in. Follow Crime Night on your platform of choice and never miss a case.

Life sentence: how a killer bought his freedom

Life sentence: how a killer bought his freedom: The serial homicide of Richard Choque Flores A psychopath sentenced to life imprisonment received a false medical certificate on Christmas Eve 2019. In eighteen months, he accumulated seventy-seven victims buried in the yard of his house. How did the judicial system allow a confessed killer to escape with the complicity of a judge, a doctor, and his own family? In this episode, we explore the corruption that freed Richard Choque after only six years of his sentence: documented bribery of three thousand five hundred dollars, ignored psychopathic diagnoses, and a sentence without parole that was violated. We unearth the impossible contradictions between the bodies of Lucy, Iris, and Fidel - the latter buried for eleven years in the yard while the family lived with the grave. Victim: Richard Choque Flores Date: May 19, 2011 - January 24, 2022 Location: El Alto, Bolivia - Rafael Pavón Street Status: Sentenced to thirty years (second conviction, January 2022) - Body of Blanca found in a blue jute bag on November 29, 2013; identifications of seventy-seven women found alongside the corpse. - Judge Rafael Halcón granted parole despite an explicit sentence without the right to parole or house arrest from 2015. - Fidel Choque disappeared on May 19, 2011; his body was found eleven years later underground in the same yard. - Dr. Freddy Time issued a false medical certificate with fabricated diagnoses (hepatomegaly, diabetes, asthma) to justify the release of the confessed psychopathic killer. The dogs that uncovered the Quimilí cult

The dogs that uncovered the Quimilí cult: The homicide of Mario Agustín Salto An abandoned bicycle next to La Represa. An 11-year-old boy disappears on May 31, 2016, in Quimilí, and eighteen months later, local justice still has no arrests. But the mother senses the worst: "Who was it that killed my son?" she screams without evidence. That gap between institutional silence and maternal certainty is where the true mystery begins. In this episode, we explore how two trained bloodhounds, Duque and Halcón, tracked down hidden satanic manuscripts in three houses, found a wallet with notes about Marito, and unleashed a scandal of police corruption. The documents found reveal rituals, diagrams of 666, and state complicity to keep quiet. But one question remains: the DNA found on Marito's body did not match any of the nine accused nor the 3,500 men analyzed. Victim: Mario Agustín Salto (11 years old) Date: May 31, 2016 Location: Quimilí, Santiago del Estero, Argentina Status: Nine accused convicted; direct killer not identified - Jiménez, organizer sentenced to life, participated in marches demanding justice and offered his vault to Marito's family. - The autopsy of a dismembered and ritual crime occupies a single page; the manuscripts mention direct police complicity. - Unidentified genetic material on the body remains unresolved after massive analysis of 3,500 men. - Halcón, one of the bloodhounds that unearthed the truth, later died without any official explanation recorded. Mario Agustín Salto, Quimilí ritual murder, 2016, satanic cult, hidden manuscripts, police corruption, bloodhounds investigation, forensic, unresolved mystery, Spanish true crime If you want to listen to this podcast without ads and have access to premium episodes, we invite you to try our subscription with a 14-day free trial at obomedia.com. © 2026 OBOMEDIA.
