The Ball Pit with Jane McKinney

<p>Welcome to the 56th episode of Cuberviews, a podcast where I sit down with friends to explore the world of Magic: The Gathering cube design! Today I am thrilled to be joined by Jane McKinney, the organizer of the Inland Northwest Cube Fest and also a co-host on the cube podcast Pack One Slick Ones, to discuss The Ball Pit, which is a rules change cube where players have to play all the cards they draft, is a desert cube, and most importantly, all cards can optionally be played face down as the card chromatic sphere. In this episode we discuss the gameplay tempo considerations for players when deciding whether to cast cards as a chromatic sphere, the synergies being able to cast cards as an MDFC chromatic sphere adds to the cube, and much more.
