Because let's be real - daughters of immigrants need to be coached differently. As the eldest daughter of immigrants, I have personally broken cycles and helped over 100 women do the same. I left a 16 year career as a Marketing Executive where I was the only WOC in the space, to now coaching 6-7 figure CEOs and high ranking women at organizations like Google, Microsoft and the United Nations. Using the tools I teach, I've since built a million-dollar business as a single mom. <p>What if you’re not actually confused?</p><p>What if you already know what needs to change, but you’re afraid to feel the grief, guilt, or fear that comes with saying it out loud?</p><p>In this episode, I’m sharing from a very personal place.</p><p>I’m currently sitting in a big decision about whether I’m leaving San Francisco, the Bay Area, or even the country. And what I’ve realized is that the hardest part of a decision like this isn’t always the logistics. Sometimes it’s admitting that you’ve outgrown something that still looks beautiful, successful, or meaningful on paper.</p><p>I’m talking about what it looks like to make identity-shifting decisions when you don’t have the full plan yet. The kind of decisions that ask you to trust yourself before you have proof. <p>Emotional Resonance dramatically shortens the buying cycle.</p><p>The distance between someone first hearing about your work and deciding they want to work with you.</p><p> </p><p>People choose emotionally first. Logic helps justify the decision afterward.</p><p> </p><p>This matters even more with high-ticket, high-proximity work.</p><p> </p><p>I've seen it, heard it and personally experienced it time and time again.</p><p> </p><p>You <strong>think</strong> you need the most airtight offer promise. </p><p>You <strong>think</strong> you need to overcome every possible objection before someone says yes. And those things do matter.</p><p> </p><p><strong>But story is what closes the Trust Gap.</strong></p><p> </p><p><strong>Story is what creates Mental Exclusivity</strong> (i.e. you become the only option they're even considering)</p><p> </p><p><strong>And when that happens, the buying process speeds up dramatically.</strong></p><p> </p><p>Some become clients immediately. </p><p>Some circle back months, or even a year+ later because they never forgot you.</p><p> </p><p>Both of those things happened after that one speaking event.</p><p> </p><p>And this is the part most content strategies completely miss.</p><p> </p><p>They explain the work. </p><p>But they never create the kind of Emotional Resonance that <u>moves</u> someone into action.</p><p> </p><p>And this is exactly why storytelling is an essential part of a high-ticket content strategy. It was part of every brand campaign I ran for 16 years in Corporate. Each one was anchored in a story.</p><p> </p><p>So why would that NOT be the case for you when your work is <strong><u>far</u></strong> more human than any corporate campaign?</p><p> </p><p><strong>And when storytelling is used strategically, something interesting happens.</strong></p><ol><li data-list="bullet"><span class="ql-ui" contenteditable="false"></span>Emotional Resonance shortens the buying cycle.</li><li data-list="bullet"><span class="ql-ui" contenteditable="false"></span>The Trust Gap closes faster.</li><li data-list="bullet"><span class="ql-ui" contenteditable="false"></span>You become the person they remember.</li></ol><br/><p><strong>And then the visible results start showing up.</strong></p><ol><li data-list="bullet"><span class="ql-ui" contenteditable="false"></span>The distance between follower and client gets shorter.</li><li data-list="bullet"><span class="ql-ui" contenteditable="false"></span>People who have been watching you for ages begin to get off the fence.</li><li data-list="bullet"><span class="ql-ui" contenteditable="false"></span>You stop getting price objections (yes, really).</li><li data-list="bullet"><span class="ql-ui" contenteditable="false"></span>You stop getting compared.
