About Dad Club
Dad Club is the podcast for dads. If you're a Dad, you're in the club. It's a fatherhood podcast about the stuff dads actually think and never say out loud. On Dad Club, Jay Wolff (On Fire: The Official Survivor Podcast, Sports? with Katie Nolan) and Greg Fass (@dadsgottadad, VP of Marketing at Liquid Death) talk all things dad: marriage, money, ambition, identity, clothes, basketball, and the daily absurdity of raising kids while trying to stay a person. New episodes weekly. Welcome to the club.

Raising A Nice Boy Isn't Enough
A case at Cornell led us into the conversation neither of us was ready to have: not how to raise a nice boy, but how to raise one with an actual backbone. One who will say something out loud in a room where nobody else will. Then Greg asked who the best male role model in public life is right now, and the silence that followed is the whole episode. Before that, the good stuff. Sadie started school and walked off holding her teacher's hand without looking back. Lou learned to copy faces on FaceTime. We realized somewhere in the middle that this podcast has accidentally become a time capsule of two kids growing up. Then a mom at a Giants game got turned into content, her husband got turned into a villain, and we got into where the joke is supposed to stop. And we gave dad pep talks to three NFL players having a worse week than you. Greg runs the Chicago Marathon this weekend, for multiple myeloma research, for his dad. Jay runs NYC in four weeks for Alzheimers. Links to both below. We are giving out Dad Club membership cards. Free. Email hi@dad-club.com. The Third Kid Is Hard, Power Rankings, and Best Brothers of All Time (with Jay's Brother, Andrew)
Our first guest is Jay's brother Andrew: dad of three, ad agency owner in St. Louis, inventor of the Dad Pad, and a man who came on this podcast with a list of demands. He wants to be our title sponsor. He believes he was the original co-host. And he absolutely will not power rank his own children out loud, because as he puts it, this could be played back ten years from now. We get into the best dad advice he ever received, how you run zone defense on three kids under five, whether the third one really makes it easier, and what it does to a marriage to go through three C sections. Then Andrew turns the questions around on us, which is when it gets spicy. Plus Dad Move of the Week, and a three round snake draft of the best brothers of all time, in which Greg drafts three sets of brothers and not one of them is actually a set of brothers. We are giving out Dad Club membership cards. Free. Email hi@dad-club.com. If you're a dad, you're already in the club.

Don't Agree To Brunch, Sleepers and Busts, and 75K for Kindergarten
There is a version of Sunday where you see every snap and your wife still gets her whole day back. We found it. Hey Dads. We're back and in the studio! First up, Jay's brother wants to know why Dad Pad isn't the sponsor of this podcast, which is a question he should probably be asking himself. Then: the parenting move where a mom offered her five year old a box of matches and a shovel, how kindergarten in New York now costs $75,300 a year, and the guy at the youth basketball game who made Jay stare directly into his own future. Plus the segment this whole episode was built for. Two weeks from Week 1, we draft the ultimate strategy for watching every second of football on Sunday with a baby in the house. Boom, bust, sleeper. The Worst Text From Your Wife
Mary Beth Barone says every white dad either cares how the dishwasher is loaded or cheats on his wife. Great news for our wives: we're definitely dishwasher dads. Bad news for anyone who has ever put a small cup in the big cup spot in front of Greg. Also this week: What you actually do when your daughter needs a public bathroom and there's no family restroom. Why the Wolff house has zero sippy cups left. Greg on the injured list after a Little Tikes trike fought back. A guy who ran a 4:17 mile pushing a stroller and beat the world record by nine seconds. Knicks ring night, October 20, LeBron in the building. The worst text you can get from your wife, including "Yep." And the first ballot of the Dad Hall of Fame, which somehow does not include LeBron. If you're a dad, you're already in the club. Every dad has a tree of heaven. Tell us yours: hi@dad-club.com (mailto:hi@dad-club.com)

What If You Just Talked To Your Kids?
Sam Altman thinks the drive to school should be an AI podcast about your own kids. Alex Hirsch replied "what if you just talked to your children" and got roughly twenty times the engagement. We take both sides, and Greg ends up somewhere neither of them expected. Plus: Greg flies LA to Portland alone with an eleven month old and learns what a 5PM departure does to a baby. Jay hires the one baby proofer in Brooklyn, a French guy who crawls around your house pretending to be a baby to find the hazards. Jay turns 39, starts creatine, moves his alarm to 5:30, and says out loud that he is not going to make the 40 under 40. Greg, who has , is very sorry to hear it. One Wipe Charlie
Hey papis - this week we have everything. Veteran dad advice, LeBron to Philly, and a fight about the butt spatula. First up, a real card carrying member of Dad Club emailed us. Kevin from Maryland is flying with a six month old and wants to know how to survive it, so we get into checked bags, the Doona, the three seat hack, night flights, and why you should rent the gear instead of hauling it. Then Greg is solo parenting this week and realizing there is no tap out. Jay collects three pieces of advice from veteran dads at a dinner party, one of which reveals that he has been applying diaper cream with his bare hands this entire time. Greg has thoughts. Greg has many thoughts. Also: ESPN ran our USMNT take without any acknowledgment, LeBron signs with the Sixers and immediately becomes Gandalf, we make the case for the fanny pack, and Robyn files two stat corrections that Jay does not accept. Dad of the Week: Dad Advice From Bo. Got dad advice, or a question for us? Email hi@dad-club.com (mailto:hi@dad-club.com). You could be next week's Kevin. Follow @welcometodadclub and @dadsgottadad. The Worst Dads of All Time
Hey Dads - big week this week. First up, a mom wrote in asking how to support your wife postpartum. We realized right away that this was a great question and a huge trap. Then we ranked the worst fathers of all time, starting with Odysseus, because Christopher Nolan just spent three hours reminding us the original action hero ghosted his kid for twenty years. Also this week: real dad hours, a $25 bet to win a million bucks, why the World Cup was a loss for dads, and a new segment where our wives correct everything we got wrong on last week's show. If you're a dad, you're already in the club. Email us at hi@dad-club.com to get your questions on the show. Go dads. Hospital Bags, Nanny Guilt and Zone Defense
Hello dads - What should you actually bring to the hospital? We answer the question every new soon to be card carrying member of Dad Club asks, then get into our dads of the week: the guilt of being relieved when the nanny arrives Monday morning, how to do 24 hours in Vegas without the kids, and the real fear of going from one kid to two. Plus, Jay reintroduces the world to French News of the Week and we nominate the events that would feature in the first ever Dad Olympics. Welcome to the club. The Dad Club. Can Two Dads Fix the USMNT?
Hey dads! This week, two guys who are extremely not qualified to give you a toddler milestone map give you a toddler milestone map. The CDC confirms your kid is a sociopath until age two, we walk through the official Dad Club potty training method (leave him outside, no pants, all summer), and we get honest about the day your alcohol tolerance quietly filed for divorce somewhere around 38. Also on the docket: the Swift-Kelce wedding at MSG, the martini as a strategic speed bump, who becomes our generation's Bruce Springsteen, and Bill Simmons learning about the Jalen Brown trade while coming out of anesthesia. We close by drafting a full XI of American athletes from other sports and daring them to bring home 2030. LeBron plays striker. We regret nothing. Chapters (00:00) Cold open: your kid is a sociopath until age two, and that's per the CDC (00:40) Q of the Week: Ely wants a milestone map, so we build the official Dad Club toddler guide (07:00) The Dad Club potty training method? To Burb or Not To Burb
Hey dads. This week we get into the deep end early: the actual day our kids showed up. From there we get into this week's dad-ness: taking a trip without the baby and the guilt-slash-relief that comes with it, the World Cup turning us both into people who suddenly care a lot about soccer, and why Bluey is the only cartoon that respects your intelligence. We also get into the big stuff nobody warns you about: moving your whole life to the suburbs for a school district and the quiet project of staying yourself while becoming someone's dad. Plus a genuinely heated debate about dad footwear, and Jay's House Rule that governs what happens to a toy when its time has come.
