ad Meta Gaming is a Warhammer 40,000 podcast where two lame dads talk about the convoluted, messy, grim dark lifesty--Game. We like things, but those are secret. Mostly we complain about models cast after 1986 and Space Marine rules.
On this week's show we talk about RNG and variance, which Logan learns are the same thing. There are parenting digressions and fond memories of Bullgryn and tank commanders. John does math so you don't have to.
Thanks to Kevin Macleod for the use of his song "Cannery." I mixed it over my intro a little too loudly but didn't fix it because these last few episodes had their final editing put on all at once. John would have fixed that issue, but I am the captain now. Star Trek quotes!

They have some models which make excellent Dark Eldar Grotesques. Also! You can order a second set of them mirrored for even more diversity of poses. Who would even think of that? Not me, I once tried to sculp some armpit meat onto an Ork with greenstuff and cut through my thumbnail with a hobby knife.

It's positivity week here on the podcast! We talk about our three favorite units and/or models. Logan sort of sounds like he's recording from the bottom of well filled with child bones. Such is life.
Thanks to Kevin Macleod for the use of his song "Cannery." Eventually I will replace the whole episode with a soundscape of this music. Eventually I will replace John with this song played backwards through an old brass basin filled with clear gelatin.

The battle rulers in their shop are great and your heart will break when your toddler snaps yours in two with his vicious strength before proudly handing it to you. Then you will hold your shattered, convenient battle ruler in two parts while you validate your son's actions and compliment his grotesque physical might.
The battle rulers are not safe for children. And children are not safe for them. But they're great for 40k! Go buy one!

We're knee deep in the 9th Edition of Warhammer 40,000. Everyone is excited about new missions, new points, and...Here's an episode recorded six months ago about it being the end of 8th edition. Logan and John become grim dark boy detectives as they try to figure out what exactly Games Workshop wanted 8th edition to look like based on the rules at the outset. Join us on our time warp, won't you?
Thanks to Kevin MacLeod for the use of his song "Cannery." I intimated to John that I would one day change the song choice for our intro and outro, but it will never happen.

In this episode, we talk about our least favorite models/units in the game. A famous man once said, "Lead with negativity if you want people to like your podcast." That man was Jesus Christ.
Thanks to Kevin Macleod for the use of his song, "Cannery." John calls it nightmare carnival music. Logan spent his very early 20s going to many Dresden Dolls shows. You figure out who picked it.

In this episode, we talk about why we decided to start a podcast. John pays Logan a lovely compliment and Logan tries to ignore it as much as possible because he was raised in a home without intimacy.
Thanks to Kevin Macleod for the use of his song "Cannery." The existence of this song fills one of the hosts with a primordial dread and conjures images of funhouse mirrors bathed in neon red light and screams. The other host is in charge of writing the meta data for this podcast. What ya gonna do?!?
Visti https://www.etsy.com/shop/WanderlightWargames for gaming figure cases, miniatures, and a dang good time on the internet. It supports the show and gets you neat stuff. Thanks!
