The Strap Always Slips: Freud, Flesh, and the Art of Being Seen with Georgie Blewett

what happens when a cis gay guy and nonbinary female-presenting sexologist sit down to reimagine Freud through the lens of queer embodiment, kink, and radical art? gotta view the video on Spotify or you miss all the visual art and gorgeous faces and fashion...we talk a lot about bodies and own our own visual beauty so show up for that!

in this episode of Daddy Dialogues, i welcome Georgie Blewett—artist, researcher, and clinician—for a conversation that cuts through shame and theory to arrive at something wilder, warmer, and deeply alive. this episode opens with a live rendition of “Personal Jesus” and moves through art, trauma, and erotic intelligence with intimacy and audacity.

i talk about the evolution of my intimate relationship with my boyfriend and Georgie shares how her time in a 24/7 daddy/little dynamic offered not only pleasure but transformation. through scenes crafted around trust, co-regulation, and attunement, she was able to reclaim the narrative of earlier sexual trauma—giving her body a chance to complete its emotional arc and, in her words, “feel celebrated.” the conversation opens into a larger meditation on erotic caregiving, the power of ABDL dynamics, and why adult desire is often where our healing begins.

our dialogue doesn’t stop at personal healing—it zooms out to include cultural and artistic politics. Georgie describes painting her own nude body at life scale, reclaiming her gaze as an artist rather than a subject of voyeurism. i draw parallels between her work and historic paintings like Madame X and Dr. Pozzi at Home, noting how the erotic has always been censored, edited, and repackaged—especially when women or queer people dare to own it. together, we ask: why is the strap on Madame X’s shoulder still being painted back on?

from there, we push further—into religious symbolism, bodily shame, and what it means to truly be witnessed. we examine the eroticism of Jesus on the cross, the scandal of Mary giving birth, and how every institutional frame, from museums to therapy rooms, has struggles to contain the sacred mess of the human body. through it all, we have a ton of fun and call for full disinhibition: to feel deeply, shit freely, relax our assholes, and get honest about what our bodies are really saying.

whether you’ve ever been shamed for your body, your kink, or your joy, this episode is an invitation to show up fully and be seen. it’s a manifesto for radical visibility, erotic spirituality, and the healing potential of play. close your mouth, unclench, and tune in. “the only tide that lifts all boats is love.”

Compton-Based Kink, Stills, Style, and Soul: Tay Atkins on the Mystery of VPL and Tom of Finland

In this episode of Daddy Dialogues, style and visual art, kink, and eroticism, Dr. Ethan Haymovitz is joined by the stunning Tay Atkins, a Compton-based model who’s redefining eroticism through visual storytelling.

"Dr. Daddy" talks diapers and Tay shares his own undergarment fetish, where the visible penis line, or V-P-L, through men's briefs, becomes a form of mystery and mystique—something more alluring than just a naked body. It’s the anticipation, the question mark, and the tension that creates the magic.

We also dive into the iconic imagery of Tom of Finland and the racial dynamics that have shaped gay visual culture. Through analyzing these pieces, we explore the empowerment and complexity within erotic art, especially as it pertains to Black men.

Plus, Dr. Ethan Haymovitz in a case study about a gay man who refuses to wear a diaper at a leather bar, questioning how visual identity and kink intersect in public spaces.
