<p>Dads Patch Season 2 Episode 2 - That's for girls Dad! Earlier this week I was at the toy store with Taylor and I'd promised to buy him a toy for being super awesome. Whilst looking endlessly around the store and suffering rejection after rejection to the ideas I presented, I was taken aback by his answer with being presented a My Little Pony toy. Now he had only been watching the My Little Pony show that same morning but he told me "That's for girls Dad". When I asked him why, he just told me that everyone knows My Little Pony is for girls. Neither Anj or I had ever really suggested something was for boys or girls specifically but then it dawned on me that society had been sending Taylor this message ever since he was born. Ever since we can remember, Bedtime Stories has been a part of Taylors daily routine in the evening; shower, brush teeth, a book read by mum and then a made up Hootie story by dad.
