Have you ever watched a child study their own hands? They turn them over, wiggle their fingers, and discover things we grown-ups barely notice anymore. Yet those hands began forming long before anyone could hold them.
Psalm 139:13–14, “For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”
David praised God for His work in the womb. The child hidden from our sight is not hidden from the Creator. And when we see God’s handiwork there, we ought to respond as David did—with praise, and with a deeper care for the life He has made.

Episode 314 - Made in His Image
A dollar bill may become wrinkled, stained, or torn, but it does not lose its value. Its worth is determined by the authority behind it, not by its outward condition.
The same is true of human life. Genesis 1:27 says, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”
Our value does not come from our appearance, intelligence, health, age, or usefulness. Every person possesses dignity because every person was created in the image of God. That includes the strong and the weak, the wanted and the unwanted, the born and the unborn.
A culture may try to measure the value of life, but God has already declared it precious. Therefore, we should treat every person with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Episode 313 - Life Comes From God
We may describe life by heartbeats, breaths, birthdays, and years—but life cannot be manufactured by human hands. It is a gift from God.
Acts 17:25, “Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things.”
Every breath we take reminds us that we are dependent upon our Creator. Life is not ours to create, discard, or declare worthless. From the smallest child in the womb to the oldest person drawing a final breath, every life exists because God gave it.
When we recognize God as the Giver of life, we will treat every person as someone precious in His sight.
