The Intercessor's Daily Update | September 12, 2026
Welcome to today's briefing with Prophet Russ Walden. Martin Luther once wrote, To be a Christian without prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing. This daily prayer update serves as our vital watch on the spiritual wall, providing a pathway to stay abreast of fast-moving current events in a God-honoring way that moves beyond secular anxiety, dismantles darkness, and actively advances the Kingdom of God across the earth.
Today's Strategic Focus:
Red Sea Port Seizures and Maritime Defense: Interceding for American naval personnel, pilots, and allied forces as regional conflict widens following the capture of Mocha near the Bab al-Mandab Strait, praying for maritime security and the preservation of innocent lives.
Energy Market Spikes and Household Inflation Relief: Praying for supernatural provision, economic relief, and wisdom for our leaders as crude oil breaks one hundred dollars a barrel and diesel spikes fuel nationwide shipping and living costs.
Western Hemisphere Security and Anti-Cartel Enforcement: Asking for divine protection, courage, and discernment for law enforcement agents and allied forces expanding coordinated operations to dismantle transnational crime syndicates.
Supreme Court Redistricting Rulings and Election Integrity: Standing in prayer for moral clarity, impartiality, and divine wisdom across the federal judiciary following key decisions on congressional maps and electoral processes.
Homeland Security and the 25th Anniversary of September 11: Lifting up families of victims and first responders in remembrance, while decreeing continuous divine vigilance, spiritual awakening, and protection against terror over our nation.
