The Church Today...To Entertain or To Teach?

Raised in the Church Of The Nazarene, he came to Christ on July 4 th 1978 (his own Independence Day!) at a Sunday School Camp in Dunblane. After training for the ministry at the Nazarene Theological College (Manchester) Stuart pastored Churches in Scotland, England and Northern Ireland. In 2017, after serving as a Pastor for 25 years, Stuart began an itinerant ministry of Bible preaching and teaching in Revivalism and Evangelism under the auspices of Ears 2 Hear Ministries. </p><p>Stuart has been married to Helen for 33 years and God has blessed them with two daughters, Heather and Leah.</p><p>For some years Stuart has been the main Bible Teacher on “Bible Focus” – a weekday 10 minute program produced by Good News Broadcasting Association, and aired on both Christian and secular radio stations in the United Kingdom and Europe.</p><p>Stuart also performs Gospel Concerts and has recorded five music Albums: “Filled With Your Love,” “Stay With Me,” (later re-released on a double cd: “Simple Faith”), “One More Song,” and “On The Other Side,” “Sincerely Yours.”</p><p>He has also authored three books: “The Broken Pastor,” “Getting Ready for Revival,” and the recently released, “On The First Day Of The Week.”</p><p>At present, they live in Sheffield, England.</p><p>Mike Tyree is the current Pastor of the Mount Vernon Church of The Nazarene in Tullahoma TN. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
