Jonathan Breines is your host, and the founder of Damn Good Beer Bus - a brewery touring company that has two locations, with hopes of growing nationwide. We wished we documented our first 6 years, but as we get set to open our Asheville location, now is as good a time as any.
Get a behind the scenes look of us growing the business, interviewing leaders in the industry, and connecting with other local business owners in our area.
In this episode, Jonathan takes a moment to share, not only, how the first tour in Asheville went...but also, the emotions and feelings tied to the opening.
It's been longgg journey getting this location open, and we're glad to finally be here. I wanted to document the emotions and thoughts while reflecting back on the last 6.5 years.
Cheers!

Dealing with Competition in a Crowded Market
Jonathan is riding solo on this episode, diving into his thoughts regarding competition and a recent discovery about another brewery touring company opening in AVL, that has re-lit a flame. Ever since sharing that we're opening a location in Asheville, a regular question is regarding competition - is there any, how will you deal with it etc. Usually coming from a genuinely curious place, sometimes I can't help but feel like there's implications that the market's too crowded.
In this episode, he'll share a story that made him think deeply about this topic, along with his take on why there's always room for the best, in any market.
