Speak Lord, I’m Listening: Who Told You That?
<p>Not every voice that challenges you is leading you toward truth.</p><p>There are many voices competing for our attention.</p><p>Some voices bring truth.<br>Some bring fear.<br>Some push us toward clarity… while others attempt to distort how we see ourselves and what God has spoken concerning us.</p><p>In this episode, I reflect on a dream involving roots, rich soil, and a taunting voice that challenged my authority and ability to stand firmly. Through this reflection, I explore the importance of discerning between the voice of God and the voice of the deceiver.</p><p>Using the story of Jesus in the wilderness from the Gospel of Matthew, we examine how the enemy often tempts us to:</p><ul><li>prove ourselves</li><li>question our identity</li><li>move outside of God’s timing</li><li>and disconnect from truth</li></ul><p>Discernment is not panic.<br>It is not performance.<br>It is rooted truth.</p><p>The soil is rich.<br>I have nothing to prove.<br>I answer to God.</p>
