Today we have Dr. Steve Yacovelli. Known as The Gay Leadership Dude, Steve has spent the past 25 years teaching others what it takes to be a great leader at companies like Disney and IBM. As Principal at Top Dog Learning Group, Steve focuses on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to cultivate collective leadership awesomeness. Steve’s critically acclaimed book Pride Leadership came out in 2019, and it has received numerous awards and accolades. I’ve read it and think the tools he shares are bound to make a difference in leaders of all types. Plus: Title VII Well, something historic happened on June 15, 2020. The Supreme Court ruled that Title v11 of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 which prohibits sex discrimination applies to discrimination also based on sexual orientation and gender identity.
