"Influenced by the techno scene of Asturias in the 90s, this native of Gijón and adopted by Zaragoza is a lover of electronic music in various genres. Since childhood, he has always been surrounded by vinyl records thanks to the presence of his older brother Alberto Palacios, one of the greatest references in Asturian electronic music. Now he is starting to show the public what he has been working on for years as a home DJ, with his residency at Music Box Utebo, where he combines spaces for commercial music and gradually tries to introduce electronic culture into the Utebo nightlife. The musical genres where he feels most comfortable playing are techno and tech house, although he can also mix indie dance or Italo disco, which means that when mixing techno, we can find details of these other trends, creating a musical fusion that leaves no one indifferent." DARK SØLACE - Genís Vega (JULY 2023)
His beginnings in electronic music trace back to the influence of his older sister, who was present in the club scene of Barcelona in the early 2000s, also with the legendary Blanco y Negro CDs and Techno compilations from the 90s that his father collected and they listened to in the car. Genís has produced his own music, experimenting with different musical genres and using both digital and analogue equipment. All of his productions are available on Bandcamp completely free of charge.
