After making the move to the Wasatch Mountains, she was quickly captivated by the freedom and adventure of human-powered splitboarding. She has had the opportunity to explore many corners of her home range as well as longer adventures in mountain ranges in Alaska and the lower 48s. Ruedi Beglinger - Selkirk Mountain Experience - True Man of the Mountains
<p><strong>EPISODE 99</strong></p> <p>Ruedi Beglinger, a man of the mountains. To be more specific, the Selkirks in British Columbia, Canada where, for the last few decades, he and his family have lived, in fact, his kids grew up on the Durrand Glacier. Ruedi’s story begins in the Swiss Alps where he was born and raised. He first traveled to North America in 1978 and eventually planted roots in the Revelstoke area and began leading hut trips in the Selkirks. 37 years later he is still leading those tours and he now has 3 huts on the Durrand.
