#3 Dolphin Dives, Emotions when you realise your going to be a Dad, Pink Eye, Sharing is key and much more!

In this episode, it's the Weekly catch-up with the boys and diving into the flood of emotions of becoming a dad! Each of us shared the time that we learnt we were going to be a father, the emotions that come with that, the joy and the grief that comes with Ty’s story in particular. We love how Ty unpacks his story and how he dealt with the grieving process, dealing with the unknown and finding a positive reframe. Moogy talks about his story and managing his emotions with parking spaces, while Pat shares his story of 'finding out' but being mindful of when he and Amber share the news. We talk about learning from each other, the miracle of falling pregnant, the stigma of miscarriages and dealing with the rollercoaster. #2 Burping, Kids saying F**K, Grandparents and Dealing with Grief- we have it all!

A big episode here, we have a name, and we are tackling the big topics..not by design! In this episode, we cover burping, our dads being dads, what age should kids remember their own shoes, swearing in front of kids and much more! Moogy drops out halfway through the call with his ‘reliable’ phone and Pat shares a beautiful story and insight about his relationship with his late mum and the connections he hopes to make with his daughter Harri through his mum’s values. He demonstrates precisely why we want to do this show and demonstrates vulnerability at its core. We love it, and we love him for it! #1 Who we are and why are we doing this! LET'S GO!!!

Welcome to the Daughters that Shred podcast! When we hit record, we didn’t have a show name yet! But who cares, let's go! Come meet Patty, Mik and Ty. Three dads who have daughters at different stages. Ty has two daughters under the age of 4, Pat has one daughter who is a week old, and Mik has one daughter under the age of 3 and one more on the way! In this episode, we set up why we wanted to do the show, what listeners can expect (hopefully alot of LOLs) and what we hope to achieve! Expect to hear poo stories, bonding moments and outrageous situations that only parents seem to find themselves in. A big part of why we are doing this is to connect with other dads, share hard times and reflect with each other to be the best dad we can be for our ladies.
