Dusty ran his own legendary club night “Trannyshack” at Madame JoJo’s for over a decade where he rubbed shoulders (and shoulder pads) with the stars. Then, five years ago, Dusty gave up performing and started painting.</p><br><p>David Hodge: The Boy Who Sat By The Window charts David’s journey from the suburbs of Birmingham to the bright lights of Soho, up to his current life as an artist. Decade by decade David describes his life, the highs and the lows. This is his story, his truth, in his own words.</p><br><p>Boy George, a long-time friend and collaborator since the 1980s, has composed the podcast's theme tune and he is featured in each episode discussing songs from the decades.</p><br><p>David’s life has been an odyssey - from stage to screen to stardom and to obscurity and then back again.
