The Goodness of God
In the finale of our "Summer in the Psalms" series, Pastor Monty Montana walks through Psalm 116 to remind us of the overwhelming goodness of God. Drawing from the story of King Hezekiah — a man who faced terminal illness, military defeat, and betrayal, yet was healed by God and responded with wholehearted devotion — this message asks one searching question:How can I repay the Lord for all the good He has done for me?

Hate Your Sin; Love Your God • June 28, 2026 • Sammy Dickinson • Psalm 120
In this message from Psalm 120 — the first of the Songs of Ascent — Pastor Sammy Dickinson challenges believers to examine how they truly view sin. Just as the ancient pilgrims journeyed toward the presence of God with hearts distressed by the wickedness around them, we too are called to feel the weight of sin rather than grow numb to it.
Sammy unpacks three key truths from this psalm: we shouldhatethe sin of the world, Christ died not just to forgive us but to make us entirelynew, and following Jesus requires a willingness to give upanythingthat keeps us in bondage to sin. Through a vivid illustration about a tiger trainer who underestimated the danger of the animals he thought he had tamed, he warns against the "pet sins" we tolerate and rebrand in our own lives.
