About DBC Talks: a Durham Book Club podcast

Welcome to DBCtalks, the podcast hosted by the Student Leadership Team of Durham Book Club! Durham Book Club (DBC) isn’t your typical reading program - it’s a community-building initiative led entirely by middle school students. Here, we’ll talk about books, reading, writing, and everything in between. To learn more about DBC, visit our website at durhambookclub.org. Thank you for listening!

   Talking with author Scott McCormick

Jasleen and Alex interview Scott McCormick, author of so many great middle grade books! Some of his books include The Dragon Squisher, the Mr. Pants graphic novel series, a series of five history books on Audible (The Rivals! series, with a fifth one coming out this year), and a contemporary middle grade comedy called Mutually Assured Detention (which was selected as a Best of Audible for 2022). We had a lot of fun talking with him. Thanks for your time, Scott!
