In addition to talking about what Zack Snyder got right and wrong in the movie, Keith and Dom break down how it was ultimately too faithful to the source material while also not being faithful enough. They also discuss how the film compares to the HBO television series that premiered 10 years later and why Watchmen as a whole is so difficult to adapt into other mediums.

'The Dark Knight' (2008)

From its themes and politics to its viral marketing and the indelible, award-winning performance by Heath Ledger, there has never been a film like The Dark Knight. It was the movie we deserved but didn't know we needed.

'Superman Returns' (2006)
On a new episode of DC Multicast, Keith welcomes acclaimed comic book artist and writer Jamal Igle to break down all the canceled Superman movies that ultimately led to 2006's Superman Returns.
From the failed Tim Burton film to the original aborted Batman vs. Superman, the Man of Steel took a long journey through production hell before hitting the big screen in Bryan Singer's pseudo-sequel to the Richard Donner films. Keith and Jamal also reminisce about their battles over Superman on message boards in the early aughts and discuss why Warner Bros. has such a hard time getting the character right on the big screen.
They also talk about what went wrong the first time around and how Brandon Routh got a second chance to redeem his turn as Superman during the Arrowverse's take on Crisis on Infinite Earths.
