Week 171! What does the way you deal with a locked door say about your personality? Apparently, quite a lot — especially if your answer is “break it down.”
This week on Deaf Dialogue, Davi, Wes VA, and Quiet K somehow turn a simple locked-door hypothetical into a full-blown Hogwarts house personality test. Would you knock? Search for a key? Pick the lock? Or just destroy the damn door? The answers lead to an unexpected debate over Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff — and, naturally, everyone immediately forgets what Slytherin is actually supposed to represent.
The conversation also gets a little more serious as Wes talks about his ongoing back problems, the frustrations of trying to get medical care, and his upcoming MRI and specialist appointment. Then L’Oreal shares a scary experience involving flashes and dark spots in her vision that sent her to the ER and ultimately revealed a change in the vitreous of her eye.
Throw in some ridiculous guessing games, random tangents, and the usual Deaf Dialogue chaos, and you've got another episode that somehow manages to go from Harry Potter to back pain to eye anatomy without making any sense at all — which is exactly how we like it. Enjoy!

When the House Gets Quiet!
Week 170! This week on Deaf Dialogue, we return from Spain and immediately find ourselves dealing with something much heavier. Dave shares the heartbreaking loss of Minnie, his dog of 14 years, and the guys talk about grief, aging, the strange emptiness left behind when someone is suddenly gone, and the difficult decisions that come with saying goodbye.
From there, the conversation moves into getting older, dealing with physical pain, navigating the healthcare system, and the realization that sometimes you can't fix everything. It's an emotional episode, but there are still plenty of the usual laughs, stories, and side conversations along the way.
A conversation about loss, acceptance, pain, and learning to appreciate what we have while we still have it. Enjoy!

Spain, Burning Cities & Making New Friends!
Week 169! This week on Deaf Dialogue, Dave is officially headed to Spain—and the excitement, nerves, and chaos are all setting in. After completing the civil ceremony for the couple he's marrying, the guys talk about the upcoming trip to Valencia, navigating a foreign country without speaking much Spanish, and the incredible Las Fallas festival, where massive works of art are literally set on fire.
But the conversation takes a turn when the bride-to-be points out something the guys hadn't really considered: they don't have many local friends they actually hang out with. That sparks a conversation about friendship, adulthood, making connections, and why finding people you genuinely want to spend time with can become surprisingly difficult as you get older.
Plus, a foul ball at the Little League World Series, questionable geography knowledge, 19-hour train rides, blood rain from the Sahara, and Dave's apparently terrible idea for a guys' night. Enjoy!
