We zijn in gesprek gegaan met Sahand. hij vertelde ons over hoe het was om in Amsterdam te komen wonen vanuit Iran en hoe hij zijn eigen cultureel centrum heeft geopend in de Jordaan waar muzikanten uit alle windstreken kwamen spelen.

Benjamin Herman is een van de geliefdste jazz-saxophonisten van Nederland. Je kan hem kennen van The New Cool Collective, een Jazz-Dance Latin band, zijn eigen Benjamin Herman trio en zijn legendarische jazzavonden in de Kring. We zochten hem op in zijn eigen huis, waar hij openhartig vertelde over zijn eerste muzikale herinneringen, hoe het is om in Amsterdam te wonen en daar een bestaan op te bouwen als muzikant.
