Toen zij dit deelde kreeg ze opvallend vaak van andere moeders die het om welke reden dan ook ook zelfstandig moeten doen: ‘Welkom bij ‘’de club’’.’ Een club waar zij liever niet bij had willen horen, maar het is nou eenmaal wat het is en zij ondervindt hoe het is. <p>In deze aflevering is Lotte Houwink ten Cate mijn gast.</p><p>Nog voordat ik deze podcast ging beginnen had ik contact met Lotte over mijn solo mom life en was zij een van de eerste die mij bemoedigende woorden toesprak. </p><p>Lotte zou je kunnen kennen van haar pamflet: De mythe van het gezin. Lotte en de vader van haar zoontje gingen uit elkaar toen zij nog zwanger was. En eenmaal bevallen merkte Lotte dat deze vorm van ouderschap haar eigenlijk juist heel goed past. </p><br><p>We hebben het dan ook over de mythe van het zogenaamde perfecte gezin, maar ook hoe je omgaat met mensen die e zielig vinden of met je te doen hebben, terwijl het ook kan zijn dat het heel fijn voelt dat het zwaartepunt bij jou igt.</p><p>-----</p><p>Welkom bij de Club. Ik ben heel blij dat ze bij mij op de bank wilde ploffen want haar laatste heartbreak is nogal vers en ik weet uit eigen ervaring dat het dan extra spannend en kwetsbaar is om erover te praten. </p><br><p>Mayra heeft met haar ex een dochter van 7 jaar oud. Toen hun dochter 2 was gingen ze uit elkaar maar kwamen weer bij elkaar. Helaas heeft hun relatie het niet gered. We hebben het over hoe je gevoel soms enorm tegenstrijdig van je ratio kan zijn. Hoe je soms vastzit in een cirkel die niks voor je doet en dat toch voor jezelf kiezen uiteindelijk beste keuze is, zelfs al doet dat vreselijk veel pijn in je hart.</p><p>-----</p><p>Welkom bij de Club.
