Deze veelzijdige persoon ontwikkelde zich als theoloog, filosoof en brugwachter tot een componist/ uitvoerend musicus en ontplooit hij vele initiatieven. Deze voorzitter van de Tilburgse Beiaardcommissie heeft onlangs bij de (her)ingebruikneming van de Tilburgse Beiaard Tilburgse componisten uitgenodigd om composities te schrijven voor deze gelegenheid. Beiaardier Carl van Eijnhoven heeft deze in de afgelopen maanden uitgevoerd.
