<p>In deze tweede aflevering blikken we terug op de eerste aflevering en hebben we het over de macht van de kerk en een persoonlijk geloof in God. We bespreken wat die macht betekent, en hoe wij die macht ervaren. In Amerika is de term 'christian supremacy' algemeen bekend, maar waarom weten wij er niks van af? De claim van een waarheid doet veel met christenen en niet-christenen. Toen we in de kerk zaten hadden we een soort superieur gevoel en nu we uit de kerk zijn, voelen we opeens een angst en leegte. Wat zijn we nog zonder (die) waarheid? We delen die onzekerheid met elkaar in dit diepe gesprek. Soms is het heavy, maar we vinden het belangrijk om dit te delen.</p>

Welkom bij onze podcast “De kerk uit”! In deze aller eerste aflevering vertellen wij wie we zijn, waarom we deze podcast maken en hoe ons proces was van jesus-freak tot ongelovige Thomas. Het is een eerlijk en kwetsbaar gesprek die we voeren als twee vriendinnen op de bank met soms wat zware onderwerpen waar we vervolgens ook weer om lachen. We hebben het over gelovig zijn en jezelf zijn, overgave en gesloten ogen, omgaan met moeilijke vragen, christelijke gebruiken, psychologie en spiritualiteit, wij-zij denken, schietgebedjes en nog meer. *het editen van de aflevering ging niet helemaal soepel, hopelijk stoort het niet teveel😁
