Folge 6: De Maa wo Tröim könnt. Eine letzte Folge und... ein letztes Album?
«De Maa wo Tröim könnt»: Ein Song der anders, ist weil er Geschichte erzählt. Doch was ist er sonst noch? Eine Parabel? Ein Sinnbild? Ein Plädoyer für Kommunikation und Verständigung? Gar etwas problematisch, wie Beat meint? Wir lüften die Frage, was sich zwischen den Zeilen an Haltung versteckt. Und dann geht es schonwieder um Politik, um Aktivismus, aber bitte nicht um die ganze Welt. Anderes Thema: Ein gutes Album hat eine A-Seite und eine B-Seite und dauert 40 Minuten. Das gelang selbst den Beatles nicht immer. Gelang es Oli? Gibt es hier einen roten Faden? Klar ist: Er wünscht sich, dass Leute dieses Album als Album hören. Und verrät im Nerd-Talk, was eine Nashville Gitarre ist und wie sie Songs fett machen kann. Folge 5: Poseidon. Und täglich hadert das lyrische Ich.
In dieser Folge packt Lea die Literaturwissenschaftlerin aus – auch wenn es bei „Poseidon“ weniger um einzelne Worte geht als um Stimmung, Klang und Gefühl. Ausnahmsweise. Oli erzählt, wie man Musik machen kann, ohne je Musikmachen gelernt zu haben. Es geht um die Angst, Stile zu persiflieren, statt sie wirklich zu spielen, um die Zusammenarbeit mit Session-MusikerInnen aus aller Welt und um den grossen Wunsch, wieder in einer Punkband zu spielen. Und ganz nebenbei klärt sich auch, was es braucht, damit Oli offen für Feedback und musikalische Vorschläge ist – und warum das lyrische Ich auch hier mal wieder mit sich selbst hadert. Ergänzende Hinweise zur Folge: • Oli hat hier einiges durcheinandergebracht. Mal erstens hat er die beiden POST-HARDCORE Band Touché Amoré und La Dispute verwechselt. Zweites beginnt das Lied Andria zwar mit den Zeilen «you still cross my mind from time to time”, dass das aber in einem Schiff sein könnte, ist wohl Olis Fantasie entsprungen. • Leas Hirn hat dafür aus dem Wort «Akkorde» im Booklet ein «Akkordeon» gemacht. Das kommt auf diesem Album aber definitiv nicht vor. Vielleicht auf dem nächsten.

Folge 4: Stadt ohni Grond. Wenn Fremdsein zu Heimat wird.
«Stadt ohni Grond» ist eine liebevolle Antihymne an alle gesichtslosen Vorstädte und ein Song, in dem aus dem Gefühl nicht dazu zu gehören, eine neue Heimat wird. Doch Beat will in dieser Folge nicht nur wissen, wieso Olis Wohnort zu einem Lied wurde. Es geht auch um Szenen, um Lokalpatriotismus in Bümpliz und um die wage Möglichkeit, dass Oli auch ein Liedermacher hätte werden können.
