Aflevering 6: DNA is de toekomst
In onze zoektocht zijn we bij familiedetective Els Leijs uitgekomen. We gaan bij haar langs en proberen via een nieuwe DNA-test meer te weten te komen over Lieve's achtergrond. Maar vlak voordat we langsgaan, gebeurt het ondenkbare. Er duikt een nieuwe match op in de DNA-bank. Zou dit dan eindelijk meer antwoorden geven?

Aflevering 5: De andere ouders
Als Lieve 18 jaar is, vindt ze voor het eerst biologische familie. Via een DNA test bij My Heritage vindt ze een achter-achternicht. Ze gaat langs, maar het levert helaas geen concrete antwoorden op. Uit het bezoek wordt niet duidelijk wie Lieve haar ouders zouden kunnen zijn. Het bespreken in de familie ligt gevoelig en Lieve besluit de druk niet op te voeren maar de relatie te behouden. Ze is namelijk heel dankbaar voor het contact met familie. Daarmee loopt de zoektocht voor nu vast en gaan we op zoek naar wat er wel is geweest aan familie.

Aflevering 4: De DNA doorbraak
Als Lieve 15 jaar is, komt er een opvallende tip binnen. Het is de zus van Bianca, die de handdoek heeft herkend waar Lieve in is gevonden. Rechercheur Gerard van den Haak zoekt het uit en hij vertelt waarom hij zo betrokken is bij de zaak. Ook hij kende zijn biologische vader niet. Psycholoog Anouk Spruit vertelt wat het met je doet als je je ouders niet kent.
