Case No. 4: The Disappearance of Russell Bovit
Travel way back to 1986 with your host, Elizabeth, as she revisits the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of 31-year-old Russell Bovit from his dairy farm in Walden, Vermont. Five days after missing a scheduled meeting with a local real estate agent, witnesses spot Russell's car on a back road leading to Cole's Pond, near the Danville-Walden town line. The abandoned car is stuck in the mud and has no trace of Russell, aside from blood found in the passenger seat and trunk of the car. Four miles down the road, on Russell's dairy farm, police find a turned over mattress stained with blood and stripped of its sheets.
