Ep. 10: Nick Sollecito (The Dear Hunter and Bored With Four)
On episode ten, we're joined for the second-first time by the great and powerful Nick Sollecito of The Dear Hunter to talk about the new concept series from the band, The Indigo Child, as well as living life in a quarantined world, the symbiotic relationship of the rhythm section, an as-of-yet unrealized electro-funk project, his old metal band, cringe-worthy TV shows and how to write a bad character, beer brewing, and much more.

Ep. 09: Act III: Life and Death (The Dear Hunter)
Day too many of quarantine: Our heroes emerged from their virus-proof bunker, in which they had vowed to stay until they finished the arduous task of analyzing their most formidable album yet. Their skin pulled tightly across the bones of their hands, raised like pale shields against the glaring of the early spring sun. Expelling the first fresh breath they had in four months, the three looked around at the world they were to become a part of once again. Armed with only their dreams and a flash drive containing a brand new episode, the three set off, six feet abreast, toward the horizon and what awaited the Dear Apparition Podcast. On episode 9, we set out to tackle the macabre landscapes of The Dear Hunter's Act III: Life and Death. As always, we get into the nitty gritty of the sprawling story the band has laid out, including the moral implications of war, the most poisonous of MacGuffins, trysts gone long unspoken, patricide, identity theft, and all sorts of other happy, fun themes. And you can all have a few hot takes and wild theories, as a treat. Follow us to be among the first to see the exciting things we have coming up, including more album breakdowns, bonus clips/minisodes, live album commentaries, and interviews with Nick Sollecito, Erez Bader, and many more. As always, thank you so much for listening. We love having the opportunity to do this. We hope this episode finds all of you and yours in good health and circumstances. Remember to practice proper social distancing and quarantine yourselves whenever possible, perhaps while binging your favorite podcast (with a fox head logo).
