Dear Beauty, Love Struggle is a podcast for the healing human. Hosted by trauma therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Yoga Teacher Kalie C. Harrington, Dear Beauty, Love Struggle is a podcast of heart to hearts with real and raw individuals who have found the beauty in their own struggle, or perhaps are still looking for it. This space serves as a motivational, validating and affirming corner of the internet where people can come to feel their struggle and pain be normalized and celebrated so they feel less alone. And that, my friend, is the damn beauty.
Ep. 2: Motherhood, Cancer + Your Thirties with Sage Collins
Sage is 33 year old native Vermonter living in the small town of Grand Isle with her husband PJ, son Asher, and dog scout. In March of 2024, she was diagnosed with stage IV rectal cancer that had metastasized to her liver.
Now in complete remission, she finds purpose and meaning in sharing her story and informing others about the importance of early screening, knowing the warning signs, and patient advocacy.
Colon cancer is the 2nd leading cause of cancer deaths for women in this country. If caught early, it is incredibly treatable and curable. In recent years, this specific disease has plagued younger and younger demographics for reasons currently unknown. If something feels off, please get screened. It could save your life.

"K Rants" are exactly what they sound like and likely exactly like what you'd imagine them to be: Kalie ranting passionately about random topics as they come to her. Welcome Beauties, to the FIRST Episode of 'Dear Beauty, Love Struggle'; a podcast that normalizes the struggles of being human. In today's episode, host Kalie C. Harrington, LCSW, RYT introduces the podcast and explains her recent hiatus from her business @beautyinherstruggle and forced pause in the podcast launch. Kalie tells the tales of her most recent pregnancy and it's subsequent complications. Kalie also shares her own 'Dear Beauty, Love Struggle" letter with the audience detailing her confusion and difficulty in finding the beauty in her own struggle lately.
