Dear Son

About Dear Son

My mission is first and foremost to build up my family in the faith, and then to build up others in the faith, to result in them building up their families in the faith. This podcast is titled "Dear Son" because it is ultimately content I want to leave for my sons to pass the faith onto them, to equip them to be God-fearing men, and to give them an inherited foundation to continue to build the kingdom of Christ. If you find value in this content, praise God. I would enjoy the comments, pushback, and any interaction to help develop the thought.

Response to Dr. Hixson on Calvinism

I have been a regular listener of the podcast Stand Up for the Truth out of De Pere, WI. Recently they did an episode on Calvinism with Dr. JB Hixson, which misrepresented Calvinism. So I felt compelled to respond. Here is the link to the podcast I am responding to: Here (http://www.standupforthetruth.com/2022/07/j-b-hixson-the-bible-teaches-both-election-calvinism-overview/). Outside of this specific context and although this is not meant to be a thorough presentation of Calvinism, if you are at all interested in this topic of soteriology and the debate between Arminianism and Calvinism, I believe you will find this episode helpful.
