Als Texas Chainsaw 3D 2013 in die Kinos kam hätte das ein fantastischer Film werden können. Immerhin schließt er direkt an das Original von 1974 an, hat viele Schauspieler aus den Originalfilmen im Schlepptau und wollte auch alte Fans abholen. Leider ging dieses Vorhaben komplett in die Hose.Woran das lag, wie das Studio sich eingemischt hat und was eigentlich mal geplant war besprechen wir heute. Texas Chainsaw Massacre The Beginning war damals einer meiner Liebsten Teile der Reihe. Nach dem Rewatch sieht das nun aber nicht mehr ganz so gut für den Film aus. Wir reden heute darüber, was mir auch heute noch am Film gefällt, wie dumm vieles davon eigentlich ist und woran das liegen könnte, dass sich meine Meinung so geändert hat. Masken, Mord & Michael Bay – Warum TCM 2003 ein moderner Klassiker ist | DeeMon Talks

2003 erschien mit "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" ein Remake, dass es im Vorfeld nicht leicht hatte, aber enormen finanziellen Erfolg feiern konnte. Wir schauen uns heute an, was das Michael Bay Remake gut macht, wo die Schwächen liegen und wie es überhaupt zum Film gekommen ist. Viel Spaß!Hinweis!Ich musste das Video jetzt mehrmals aufgrund von Copyrightproblemen hochladen. Die Filmszenen sind jetzt alle spiegelverkehrt und haben einen leichten Unschärfefilter drauf, der die Ränder etwas verschwimmen lässt, damit das Video diesmal hoffentlich nicht geclaimed wird. Auf Patreon gibt's wie immer die unzensierte Version des Videos.
