What began as a college student waitressing at a family restaurant in Marina del Rey turned into something far bigger. Every day at table 23 sat four men who would unknowingly play a pivotal role in her future. Among them was “Winston” — the chain-smoking regular with sharp wit, deep pockets, and an unexpected heart for a fearless young waitress who had no idea who she was really talking to.
