And in order to become emotionally independent, you can practice making decisions without asking everyone else what they think, being comfortable spending time alone, setting boundaries, saying no without feeling guilty, walking away from situations that aren't healthy for you, learning how to calm yourself when you're overwhelmed, little things like that, right?
