In dieser Folge gehe ich auf die wichtigsten Fragen ein, die Mietende aktuell beschäftigen. Es wird erklärt, welche Kündigungsfristen bei Untermietverträgen gelten und ob ein befristetes WG-Zimmer wegen eines Ausbildungsabbruchs gekündigt werden kann. Ein zentrales Thema sind Mietminderungen, etwa bei undichten Fenstern, Schimmel oder wenn der Vermieter versprochene Reparaturen oder Bauvorhaben nicht umsetzt. Zudem klären ich, ob Nachzahlungen für Schimmel noch nach Jahren verlangt werden dürfen und was passiert, wenn die Wohnung kleiner ist als im Mietvertrag angegeben. Weitere Schwerpunkte sind die Rechte und Pflichten von Mietern, zum Beispiel bei der Entfernung von Katzennetzen oder der Reparatur eines kaputten Herds. Auch Sonderfälle wie die Erhöhung der Betriebskostenpauschale oder das Wohnen ohne Anmeldung werden behandelt.
