New episodes drop every other Monday. Stay tuned, Children of God.
Last week, we shared how Becky's life was all over the place physically, emotionally, and spiritually. This week isn’t about what she did. It’s about what God did.
In Part 2 of Becky’s testimony, we continue the conversation by sharing how God was working in her life long before she could recognize it. From conviction and healing to forgiveness, church hurt, community, and surrender, this episode is a reminder that God doesn’t wait for us to have it all together before He begins transforming us.
If you’ve ever wondered whether God is still working in your life even when you can’t see it, we pray this conversation encourages you to trust that He is. No matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done, God is still able to draw you, heal you, and make you new.
This is what God does.

Are We Loving Each Other Well?
Are we loving people well, or are we loving people conditionally?
In this episode of Dem Church Kids, we’re having an honest conversation about love, grace, judgment, acceptance, and what it actually means to reflect Jesus. We discuss how people receive love differently, how God meets people exactly where they are, and why it’s dangerous to expect everyone’s walk to look the same.
Just because somebody doesn’t look like you, act like you, or grow at the same pace as you doesn’t mean God isn’t working on them.
This one is a heart check for all of us 🤍

Trusting In God's Promises
In this episode of Dem Church Kids, we’re having an honest conversation about God’s timing, waiting well, and learning how to trust what He is doing, even when we don’t fully understand it.
Sometimes God will reveal something to us, give us vision, or show us a glimpse of what’s ahead… but that doesn’t always mean it’s time to move. We talk about the tension of wanting to build, wanting to leave a legacy, wanting to see things happen now, while God is calling us to be content, focus on heavenly things, and trust Him in the season we’re actually in.
This episode is a reminder that everything happens in God’s timing and in due season. We don’t have to rush what He’s growing, force what He hasn’t released, or measure our lives by what the world says we should be building.
Maybe the waiting isn’t wasted.
Maybe obedience right here is the point.

Maybe we've gotten this wrong???
In this episode of Dem Church Kids, we’re continuing the conversation from part 1. Talking honestly about the gospel, love, and the way we treat people. Because maybe…we’ve gotten this wrong. We talk about how easy it is to look the part, follow rules, and still miss the heart of God. The gospel isn’t just what we say, it’s how we love. And if there’s no fruit, then what are we really doing? This is a real, unfiltered conversation about conviction, humility, and letting God do the inner work instead of trying to fix people from the outside.

God has been doing something in us
In this episode of Dem Church Kids, we’re back for season 2 and sharing what the Lord has been doing in us during the break. What started as a catch-up turned into an honest conversation about dependency, humility, conviction, and the inner work God wants to do in our hearts.
It’s easy to grow up in church and know how to look the part, but God is after something deeper. He wants fruit, not performance. If you’ve been in a season of unlearning, pruning, and letting the Lord deal with your heart, this conversation is for you.

Broken Cisterns
In this episode, Dem Church Kids dive into the uncomfortable truth about idolatry, not golden statues, but the everyday “broken cisterns” we run to when our hearts drift from God. We talk about how easy it is to look for identity, comfort, validation, or escape in things that can’t hold water and never satisfy. From relationships to ministry to success to self-made coping habits, we unpack why God calls these things idols and why He keeps inviting us back to the only Fountain that actually gives life. This is a real conversation about recognizing the leaks in our hearts, turning from what’s empty, and returning to the One who never runs dry.
Scriptures mentioned:
1 Samuel 15
2 Samuel 11-12
Psalm 51:11
Psalm 27:14
