Hotel oder Casa Particular – was sind die Unterschiede?
Für den einen die Casa Particular, für die andere das Hotel<br /> Die Casa Particular, eine Form des Bed'n'Breakfast, die sich aber weit entwickelt hat bis hin zu kleinen Hostels, ist die private Unterkunft in Cuba. Das Hotel ist immer staatlich, auch wenn es in Kooperation mit (meist europäischen) Konzernen betrieben wird.<br /> <br /> Daraus ergeben sich natürlich einige spezifische Vor- und Nachteile. So z.B. die Frage der Verpflegung. In den Hotels ist das Essen gesichert, in einer Casa gibt es meist nur Frühstück, den Rest muss man kaufen (nicht einfach) oder immer essen gehen.<br /> <br /> Auf der anderen Seite sind die Hotels staatlich-sozialistisch, d.h. es mangelt oft am gewohnten Standard und ohne Trinkgelder geht nicht viel.<br /> <br /> Neugierig geworden? Nein, tuKola aus Cuba!<br /> Die tuKola - Cubas berühmteste Cola<br /> <br /> Nach der Revolution übernahm der Staat in Cuba die Coca Cola Produktionsstätte und stellte dort seine eigene Cola her, die theoretisch sogar auf dem Original-Rezept basiert.
