Iran in a State of Emergency - a country between repression and resistance
<p>This episode contains descriptions of violence during the suppression of protests in Iran. Listener discretion is advised – jüngeren oder sensibleren Schüler:innen wird empfohlen, die Folge <u>nicht</u> zu hören. </p><p>In this episode, Aylin and Mark offer insights into the extremely difficult situation facing the Iranian population in times of protest, resistance and repression. Aylin talks about growing up in Iran, the lack of freedom in everyday life, the role of religion and state control, the economic hardship many people face, and the fear surrounding protests, surveillance and repression. Eine Partnerschaft im eigenen Land: Hamburg und Dresden
<p>In dieser Folge geht es wieder um das Thema „Hamburgs Partnerstädte in der Welt“. Nachdem Jenny und Coco ihre Reihe mit der Stadt Shanghai begonnen haben, beschäftigten sie sich nun sehr intensiv mit der Partnerschaft zwischen unserer Stadt und Dresden. Dresden? Ja, ihr habt richtig gelesen – wir haben tatsächlich eine Partnerstadt im eigenen Land, was sehr ungewöhnlich ist. Wenn ihr nun wissen möchtet, warum diese Verbindung besonders ist, dann hört unbedingt rein!
