Er betreut PatientInnen aus dem Bereich Innere Medizin mit Schwerpunkt Stoffwechsel- und Hormonstörungen. Schilddrüse und Schwangerschaft | OA Dr. Julian Marschalek
Klein, aber oho: die Schilddrüse ist ein kleines Organ mit doch recht großer Wirkung in unserem Körper. Eine gesunde Schilddrüse ist dabei nicht größer als das Daumenglied des jeweiligen Menschen. Sie bildet zwei Hormone: Tetrajodthyronin, T4, und Trijodthyronin, T3, und gibt diese ins Blut ab. So werden viele lebenswichtige Stoffwechselprozesse im Körper reguliert. Wie zum Beispiel der Energiehaushalt, der Wärmehaushalt, das Herz-Kreislauf-System. Und sie beeinflusst uns in unterschiedlichen Lebensphasen wie zum Beispiel Frauen, die schwanger sind. Um über die Bedeutung der Schilddrüse auf die Schwangerschaft zu sprechen, haben wir uns heute einen Experten eingeladen.
