Wenn Mobber Mobber mobben...
Wir beschäftigen uns (stark abschweifend!) mit einer Episode aus der 1. Staffel M*A*S*H, die bei vielen Fans allgemein als die schlechteste der Serie gilt und auch bei den Akteur*innen sehr unbeliebt war – hatte sie ihre Charaktere doch in sehr Charakter-untypischem Licht dastehen lassen (was zwar auf den ersten Blick fast so wirkt, dann aber doch nicht dasselbe ist, als das, was wir an der Episode anzuprangern haben): “Gier, Angst und noch mal Gier / Major Fred C. Dobbs”

Ach, Henry...
Eine dieser besonderen Episoden, die es in so vielen TV-Serien gibt, war das Finale der 3. Staffel von M*A*S*H, “Abyssinia, Henry”, die 1975 etwas ganz unerhörtes mit einem ihrer Haupt-Charakter machte: Nicht nur, dass man mit dem leicht trotteligen Lager-Commander des 4077sten einen der Publikumslieblinge aus der Serie ausscheiden ließ, die Art, wie Henry Blake den Korea-Krieg, und damit die Serie M*A*S*H verließ, machte allen (den Zuschauern sowie Cast und Crew) klar, dass es hier kein Zurück mehr gab… Wir reden heute heute über eine der wichtigsten und berüchtigtsten Stellen aus M*A*S*H: Den Tod von Henry Blake!

Der Rote Faden führt uns heute vom nebligen, kalten, grauen England auf in die sonnigen, grünen, musikdurchfluteten Gefilde von Pepperland! Der Zeichentrickfilm "Yellow Submarine" von 1968 gilt als ein psychedelisches Meisterwerk, das lange besonders in Drogen- und Hippie-Szenen beliebt war und seit langem auch einen festen Platz in der Popkultur gefunden hat. ...und wir reden heute in unserem kleinen, (grün-)gelben Podcast-U-Boot darüber.
