Ancak aradan geçen yaklaşık 40 yıllık süreçte elbette ki Hocaefendi, konusu İslam ahlakı olan birçok vaaz ve hutbe vermiş, özel ve genel sohbetler yapmıştır. Kapsamlı bir ahlak kitabı olması gayesine matuf, Hocaefendi’nin, bu 40 yıllık süreçte yazılarında ve sohbetlerinde üzerinde durduğu ahlakî konuları da –ki bir kısmı hâlihazırda basılı kitaplarda yer almaktadır– kitabın içine dercettik. Ruhunun ufkuna yürümeden önce zât-ı âlilerine arz edilen kitap, kendilerinin de muvafakatıyla basılmış ve böylece tarihe bir not daha düşülmüştür.
