I Was Wrong About Women’s Events | Growth, Healing, and What ‘In Her Image’ Really Means
When I said I’d never do women-only ministry… I was wrong.
💜In this candid conversation, I open up about how God changed my heart, healed old wounds, and showed me the beauty of sisterhood. For years, I resisted anything “women’s only” because of the hurt and misconceptions I carried. But through healing, growth, and time, I’ve discovered the power, strength, and purpose that come when women walk together in unity and identity. This live stream also marks the beginning of Season 2 of the In Her Image Podcast! 🎙️We’re diving deep into the Proverbs 31 woman—not as a checklist to achieve, but as a reflection to recognize. She’s not about perfection; she’s about identity. If you’ve ever felt disconnected, misunderstood, or hesitant about women’s spaces, this episode will encourage you to see them differently—and maybe see yourself differently too.

The best Bible translation, in my opinion, is...
Which Bible translation is the best? It’s a question I hear all the time—and one I have strong thoughts about. In this episode, I unpack why there isn’t a single “perfect” translation and why every version brings its own value (and its own flaws). From the readability of the NLT to the precision of the NASB, the commentary-rich NET, and even paraphrases like The Message or The Passion Translation, I share how each one can reveal a different facet of God’s nature—like the many sides of a diamond. We’ll talk about the cultural context behind translations, why interpretation is unavoidable, and why it matters more that you understand Scripture than that you pick the “right” version. Whether you’re new to reading the Bible or a longtime student, this conversation will encourage you to dive deeper and trust God personally through Scripture.

Charlie Kirk Proved Me Wrong: Women in Leadership
Something monumental just happened. Turning Point USA announced that Erica Kirk, Charlie Kirk's wife, will be stepping in to lead the organization.I’ll be honest—I’ve wrestled with some of the things Charlie has said about women and marriage. But this moment challenged my assumptions and proved me wrong. In this live, I share my thoughts on why this is so significant, what the Bible actually says about submission, and why mutual honor and respect are the foundation of a healthy marriage. As someone who has spent years studying Proverbs 31 and writing about it, I believe women are called to lead with strength and dignity. This moment is more than a leadership change—it’s a picture of God’s design for women revealed. In Her Image, my soon-to-be-released devotional focused on the character traits of the Proverbs 31 woman, is a timely message. I believe Erika embodies the character traits in the book and I'm so excited to embark on this journey with so many of you.🌐 You can check out my books and resources here: https://andreajohn.com/resources (https://andreajohn.com/resources)
