I did not get the part, but there was a guy who was the assistant director, Louis Anthony Martin, who was directing the next play, which was called Orphans. And that really changed my life. It was a play about two brothers. I have an older brother who I'm very close with. And a father figure comes into their life. I'm very close with my father. It was like the father figure is giving my character... encouragement. It's a beautiful play by Lyle Kessler set in Philadelphia. And he's giving me encouragement and the audience is laughing and crying. […]
