About Diary of a Dad-EO
Over the past year, I've have spoken to ALOT of dads about what to expect from fatherhood & one of the key things that always came up was the struggle of juggling fatherhood while working a full-time job (especially running a business and being a CEO). It got me thinking about why all these conversations we've had were bound to Whatsapp instead of broadcasting it to other Dads going through the same thing looking for some form of security in the knowledge they're not alone in having these particular feelings. So...the idea was born! David Michael Powell, father of newborn baby boy Brodie will be chatting to fellow dads who happen to run a business about how they navigated the final few months before babies arrived and also the early stages of juggling both fatherhood and business. We hope it helps any current dads, future dads or anyone who simply fancies a listen for some pleasure. Together, we will UNITE the fatherhood CEO's and share a glimpse into each of our unique diaries. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy (https://acast.com/privacy) for more information.

[…] It's like, juggling work life and parenting is, is too seriously intense things to do as a, as a dad. So that's where the daddy came from, I think it's, it's, it's good to have those conversations. And I definitely noticed that more, I don't know if it's just the algorithm on Instagram now. So it's me up a lot more community, similar, especially loads in America, for sure. So trying to help the dad, the dad groups, it seemed like more and more people are doing it, which is a really good thing because dads do need it. But early in the series, the dad shift was on the news talking about like the mental health struggles of men after childbirth and male suicide rates and all sorts of stuff like that that is worrying that you do, you do shoulder it because I think the biggest guilt you have as a, as a dad is.
